I've been living at Lakeside for about a year and I don't have many good things to say. As previous reviewers state, the management staff encourages you to report excessive noise but ultimately does nothing about it. My upstair neighbors often play music loud enough for me to hear the lyrics clearly across my unit and while shaking everything on the walls. You can basically hear everything your neighbors do and mine allow thier kids to run around (pound on floors) until 1am some weeknights. Perhaps I just have bad neighbors but the fact that nothing is done about it is what really turned me off.

There is a serious bug problem with units on the first floor including ants, roaches, and other things I've never seen before. Shortly after moving in, I also noticed fungus growing from the base of the walls. Tile is not cut properly and many things are 'pieced' together poorly. These units are spacious, but old and run down. Maintenance is below average. They're out here promptly but many times have to revist to fix the problem correctly. Perhaps units on the top floor are ok here, but anything below that is an unexceptable living experience
