I was supposed to move into lakeside apartments in august. However when I went on the personal tour the model apartment that the representitive (i refuse to use a name)showed me was beautiful. She also showed me an empty apartment that someone else was going to be moving in. At this time I was impressed.. I paid all the money that was reqiured for me to move in. On the day I was suppose to move in I signed the lease gave my move in money and went to check the apartment that I was going to move in. IT WAS HIDEOUS!!!!! There was CARPET IN THE BATH ROOM... YES I SAID CARPET. THE HALLWAY WAS PISSEY...THE FIRE PLACE LOOK LIKE SOMETHING FROM THE 1800'S TAKING UP THE WHOLE LIVING ROOM. THE BATHROOM SHOWER WALL HAD GROUT. THIS APARTMENT WAS NOT CLEANED PROPERLY. THE TILE ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR WAS COMING APART. So guess what I told them I refuse to move here... So I was told I would get a refund... Guess what i'm still waiting on it and they are telling me that they mailed it already... Just make sure if you move in here you get to see the actual apartment that you are going to be moving in believe me it is worth your time! Choosing to move here has cost me so much money and I was also forced to live with my parents for a while and pay for storage space.... SO PLEASE JUST MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE PLACE YOU ARE GOING TO BE MOVING IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

I also went on the tour and was taken in by the lovely model apt. My current apt complex allows you to see the ACTUAL apt you would be living in so it made me uncomfortable that I could not see this one. The agent said she could show me a similar empty apt in another building to give me an idea. At that moment my eyes glazed over and I tuned her out. ESPECIALLY since the laundry rooms that are located on the 1st fl can only be accessed by going outside in the rain and snow and heat!! That along with the fact that I had to pay for gas and water...After looking at many similar apt complexes I realized mine wasn't that bad after all and actually I was able to move to a better unit and am extremely happy staying put.

I am currently looking for an apartment with my fiance and we thought Lakeside apartments were beautiful! After reading all of the negative comments, I am rethinking my current decision to move there. Do you mind me asking where you found an affordable a comfortable place to live? I am having a hard time finding the right complex to move into. Any information you could give me would help! Thanks so much!
