Wow I lived through all the construction and was always notified when people would be entering my apartment. I was always given a 24 hour notice and when they changed the locks there were notices up for weeks ahead of times, and no one snuck in to use the bathroom. Who would do that.
I have been here 3 years going to be 4 when I resign my lease and I have always been treated with respect. Any problem I have ever had here has been fixed. I love it here, and have no clue what these people are talking about. Lakeside has always been great to me and my family and it's just getting better here. Everyone in the office is wonderful, friendly, and courteous. They really do have the BEST maintence staff, all very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt.
I feel like when I hear such crap I need to defend my home from ridiculous people

You're one of the lucky minority then. I have photographs of my used toilet when I got home from work(and shower curtain knocked down)and saw dust on my leather furniture when they changed the locks. And as a woman being woken up hearing strange mens voices in my apartment in the early morning when the fire protection devices were being installed and was NOT notified, it's a scary scenario. I don't think any of my complaints were ridiculous. So you're either really lucky and in the minority or your paystub says "AIMCO" on it.

I'm willing to bet on the paystub saying AIMCO. It's terrifying to wake up and have an unknown man standing over you in bed: that has happened to me numerous times at Lakeside. That's the reality: whoever wrote this review is bogus.

No my paystub does not say AIMCO. I am just a very happy resident. The problem is that most people ARE happy at Lakeside so they don't seek out apartment rattings, or they read it and just think WOW these people are ridiciulous. See I know how to read the 24 hour notices and if somone was breaking in my place and using the bathroom as you say, I would have called the police. That's what you do when someone comes into your home uninvited. Everytime I have ever brought something up at the office it has always been taken care of. I couldn't ask for a better office staff and the manager here I think she is the best.
