Where to start'
We moved in March 28. It is now June 24th.
We moved into a "renovated" unit. I put that in quotes for the following reasons:
1) We moved in, it rained, ceiling LEAKED. We were told the roof was MISSING about 5' of roof right on top of our unit. TOOK THEM A MONTH TO FIX IT
2) Water knobs/valves in showers were a million years old, made from galvanized steel (yes, rust comes out when you turn on the water), AND they do not keep pressure constant while you shower (scolding hot one second, freezing cold the next). TOOK THEM A MONTH TO FIX IT
3) AC compressor/condenser was a million years old as well, was rusted SHUT. We put in a maintenance request and they couldn't even get the old freon out because the compressor was rusted shut. TOOK THEM 2 WEEKS TO FIX IT
4) When we moved in, both bathrooms were FILTHY. Rings around the toilets, paint on the floors. Also, the re-surfacing on the tubs had "specks" of resurfacing material that was SHARP ENOUGH TO BREAK SKIN. Our little girl became fearful of the tub. UNACCEPTABLE.
5) New AC compressor/condenser has leaked all of it's freon today, called it in at 10am... it's is now 2pm, the apartment is at 80 degrees and NO ONE WILL CALL ME BACK. I have called 3 times, left 2 messages, WALKED OVER AND TALKED TO THEM... and yet... it's like we don't even exist.

DON'T MOVE HERE. These are the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered... they bill you for utilities 1 day before rent is due... and they bill you through USPS, not in person, and not on your door... so you MUST check your mail before rent, OR THEY WILL CHARGE YOU LATE FEE of $80 per DAY late. Also... Rent is DUE on the 1st of every month... WITH NO GRACE PERIOD, IT'S LATE ON THE 2ND!!!!

I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY LEASE, THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!

you sound stupid ! the stuff your saying doesnt even make sense. maybe you should leave so the rest of us can live here and be happy

I love the response that management gives. Rather than try to fix the problems or even address the resident's concerns they post childish responses. Then again the management is childish so it doesn't surprise me. Moving to Lakeside is a bad choice. Unless you like brothels, clubs and drugs all in the same building.
