Moved in over Memorial Day weekend 2000. Since then, it's been a rollercoaster.

Pro #1: any large problems that I've had (broken window, broken a/c, et cetera) have been fixed / replaced / repaired usually within a few hours. With the broken window, I had to wait about two days, but only because the window frame needed to be replaced. (It was a double paned window ...I did not have a gaping hole in the side of my apartment for two days.)

Pro #2: Compared to most other places I looked (Glendale Heights south to Naperville), Lisle Place is huge and relatively cheap. Yes, there were larger apartments for rent, but not many. And the larger ones were considerably more expensive. I've really got about as much room as I need. The kitchen allows for a small table and a couple of chairs without blocking access to the fridge and stove (and the other rooms).

Con #1: My kitchen faucet leaks a bit (and I've notified the apartment manager), but it's not yet been repaired. I'm not sure the minor things like this rate high on the managements list of things to do.

Con #2: The place is thirty years old and looks it. The styling of the apartment interiors shows a definite hint of retro (think big curved wall). The elevator should be avoided at all costs. (It is frequently out of order ...and when it's in order it can be a bit scary).

Overall, good. Spacious and less costly than most. It's in the Chicago 'burbs, so don't expect it to be cheap, though. Starts around $800 for a one bedroom.
