Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
For the first year and a half, there weren't any major problems. Then, when an issue came up with a roomate not putting up his share of the rent, the last 4 months of the lease were unbearable. Here I was a good, paying tennant for over a year and a half, and the minute I have trouble, the office threatens eviction, many late fees, lawyer fees, etc. They were completely unreasonable. I informed them of my troubles, and asked them to please understand. Instead, when the last months rent was only 6 days late, they issued an evicition notice. Which I find doubly insulting because they will be returning my security deposit anyway.
