Nice place when you're just starting out

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
We moved in last August and have had few problems or concerns.
Positives:
Very quiet.
Cleaning lady comes a couple times during the week to clean halls.
Parking is not an issue.
Trees and bushes are in front of windows and provide some privacy.
Negatives:
Olive green appliances in kitchen.
Although the kitchen is large and could be used as an "eat-in kitchen", it lacks storage.
Very plain and simple.
We have been pleased with this apartment. We pay $799 a month for an apartment that is over 800 sq. feet and allows us to have a dog. The courtyard and grounds are simple but are a nice place to take the dog for a walk. I have never felt unsafe, whether it be in my apartment or outside of the building. Sure, it isn't a "trendy" or "yuppie" place to live, but it is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and is perfect for a couple just starting out and trying to save some money.
