I will be forced to move with this condo conversion...But a great place to live!

I moved here December 2000. I am from down south (out of state) and was surpised to find how easy it was too make friends. With all the customer oriented activities (resident parties, boating, ski hill, volleyball, The Lodge, fishing, etc),it was pretty easy to find people with my same interest.
The office staff, which now constist of rental management and condo conversion management, is basically good. The two teams do not seem to be on the same page. Condo's only concerned is moving renters out and converting apartments for sale. The new V.P. is no different that a " used car salesman" and will cheat you any way he can to get you to buy a unit. Don't trust him! The rental management tries. The Property Manager and Assistant Manager are great but the have their hands tied by Equity Residential and can't really do much for problems but buy you a beer at the Lodge in an effort to keep you happy. The General Manager is a freak! I have seen her almost naked at the Lodge (flashing residents). Pretty unprofessional. The word is, she is leaving FLV very soon!
Soon, I will be forced to move, for a 2nd time, due to conversion. I live in a two bedroom and there are none in the towers. In addition, the towers are very loud and dirty, with poor elevators. However,I feel as though I will miss this place. I know I will miss the activities. But I refuse to buy a condo here. I have had heard too many stories about the poor quality and condition of the "converted" product.
