I couldnt ask for more from Four Lakes. As a transplant to Chicago from out of state the social atmosphere here made me feel like a local within weeks. I would have to say that Four Lakes is the Melrose Place of the western suburbs. I really havent had any bad experiences like some of the other reviewers have claimed. While the residents are certainly fun loving anf full of life, everyone has always been polite and respectful. Sure I have seen people stumbling home from the lodge with too much too drink, but I always saw it as a good thing since seeing them walking from the lodge meant they werent driving home from outside bars. With the amount of DUI's given out by cops in the area a "walk to" bar is worth the rent alone for the younger crowd. The best thing about Four Lakes is the incredible amenities that surround! Within walking distance you have a lodge, volleyball courts, softball, running trails, fishing, skiing and countless social activities.

I have lived in two different places including my current outside of the towers. It is a fantastic unit, brand new due to recent conversion. I dont know about all the buildings but this one has cement floors which means I dont even hear my neighbors. The conversions that are going on in the place are giving a deserved face lift to all units. While it was a pain to get relocated so suddenly, the brand new feel of the place I ended up renting is definitely worth it.

I never had a ton of contact with the managment staff until recently but they turned a black cloud into a silver lining. I was informed I was going to have to move in a short period of time. However, they helped me find a unit that someone bought with the intentions of renting.

All in all I have nothing but good to say and would reccomend this place to anyone interested in renting anywhere near the area. Come spend a day here and you will see what I mean.
