There are TWO areas - low rises and towers

When I first started reading the reviews, I almost didn't rent a condo from a private owner. But I figured out that the problems are in the "towers". The low rises are not bad.
The condo I'm renting has some smells in it from a dog, I think. It wasn't obvious until I cleaned the carpets. These apartments have obviously been around for awhile, and the walls have bad paint jobs.
If you're thinking about buying a condo, walk into any building. Look at the railing for the little grey lock boxes with keys. There are 5-7 of them in my building, obviously there are a lot of condos for sale by the owners, not just the condo office for 4 Lakes.
Another drawback is there is almost NO guest parking at ALL. You have one reserved space, and in my case, there's SIX guest spaces located a half block from my apartment. They're ALL occupied, probably by people who live in the apartment. I suppose this is good, because it makes it impossible to have a party.
The amenities are nice.
