I will be moving in a couple of months and couldn't be happier. Four Lakes is the worst apartment I've ever had and I lived in some dumps in college.

The neighbors are weird. A lot of older divorced men that hit on the young girls that live there. Watch out ladies. I had a weirdo follow me until I told him my boyfriend was an ex-football player and would whip his A$$ if he didn't leave me alone.

Management are pricks until it is time to resign your lease. And watch out they will increase your rent a lot but know that it is negotiable if you tell them you are moving. I have a "Buy a Four Lakes Condo" flier on my door almost daily. Who would buy one of these dumps'!'!' Also maintenance is weird too. Who wants those type of folks in your apartments' One would hit on me constantly until I started avoiding him everytime I see him. And to think he is in my home when I'm at work. SCARY!!!!

However, it is perfect for the frat boy straight out of college. Lots of drunk neighbors since the pub is on the property. Also be prepared for the drunk jerks to pull the fire alarm at least once a month at 2am. The firemen hate Four Lakes residence and would prefer we all burn up. But I will admit you get lots of exercise walking back up stairs to your apartment after the fire alarm is turned off.(Fire department usually doesn't turn the elevators back on for at least 5-10 minutes. Then you have to wait for all the old woman with their cats to go.) But don't ignore the fire alarms. Sometimes it is a real fire. (Once every 8 months)

Also back to the weird neighbors. Beware there is an older woman that wants everyones apartment. She moves around the whole building and management hates her. She is nosey and I have caught her with her ear up to my door and my neighbor's door on several occasions. If you live there you know who she is. Let's not forget the inconsiderate neighbors that leave there clothes in the laundry room washer and dryers for days. I think the load of clothes in one of the dryers has been there for over a month now. Also those older divorced men, they have dumb kids that visit on the weekend. The kids like to prop the doors open and skateboard in the garage. I'm such a jerk,;-) I usually close the doors so they can't get back in the building since it is not safe to have the doors open.

Speaking of safety. About a year ago we had problems with theft. Another resident was breaking in apartments while the good residents were at work. So always lock your door. Also there have been car theft problems on the property. I know someone that had his back window smashed and his laptop stolen. So don't leave valuables in the car. One more thing, there was a dirty old man stealing clothes (I think women's clothes) from the dryers once. So keep an eye on your laundry.

I put up with this for 2 years(only cause I hate moving) and I'm tired of the BS that Four Lakes offers. Time for a change! BYE GHETTO LAKES!!! (it says that in the elevator in my building) ;-)
