New Management...

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
April 2007, Marquette Management purchased Four Lakes. Since they have been in charge there has and continues to be changes. They started with changing the name to The Towers of Four Lakes (Luxury Apartment Homes), they painted the poles in the garage, and are currently in the process of renovating public areas and all apartments (which I sure will mean major rent increases). The current tenants are not quite sure how much ($$$) these renovation are going to affect our pockets but we'll find out over the next 2 years (anticipated renovation period).
They've added "Errand Masters" concierge service...what a joke! There service is being partial subsidized by Marquette...guess who pays the other part' Who was responsible for this addition and why' This service would be great in a senior community!
If Marquette is successful in getting rid of the college students...The Towers will be a decent place to live. BUT...
There are some major issues with the on property amenities. The amenities are operated and governed by the condo association. It seems as though the condo assn and Marquette don't speak the same language. You will not get any written info about the amenities in your lease package, i.e., hours of service, usages fees, what amenities have an additional fee assessed, etc. even though your rent, is suppose too, include use of the amenities. If you have any issues with amenities you are referred to the condo assn. They refer you back to Marquette...so you really don't get any resolution.
I would recommend The Towers if you need temporary housing...not long term.
