My girlfriend, her son, and I have nearly lost our minds sticking it out for the past year in the ever disgusting villages. Within less than a month after we moved into the Villages on Maple we realized we had made a horrible mistake. My girlfriend's son had scooters stolen from him twice, had kids in the "hood" throw food at our door and toss our lawn chairs in the dumpster while he was alone (which is only for about an hour each day). Soon after, he was not allowed to go outside without an adult/bodyguard. Nearly every night we hear screaming, cursing, car alarms, and dumpsters being moved. There is nearly always garbage in the parking lot...everything from used condoms to empty beer bottles. It is also readily apparent that there are NUMEROUS Section 8 residents that care little for the grounds, the units they live in, or for their working neighbors. The staff has been consistently obnoxious and apathetic about any concerns/issues we may have. All this for nearly $1000 a month for a small 2 bedroom with no washer or dryer. Thank God, we will be moving within a month. I urge you to make multiple visits to the villages before considering it as I'm confident after you do you will NOT ever want to live here.

I don't think we live on the same property. My husband and I live here with our daughter and we do not share in your opinions or your experience. If you hear things ourt of the ordinary, are you reporting them? Also, where are you going to go where you are not going to hear car alarms? I do agree about the dumpsters, but that is only because the garbage compnay is on the property picking them up. Also, every morning (except Sunday) I see maintenance picking up the property at 7:30 am. In addition, I researched long and hard regarding section 8 and if you call the office, they will tell you that they do not accept it and haven't for years. I'm sorry that you have not enjoyed your experience but we love it here.
