I have been here nearly a year, my lease will be up shortly and I have absolutely no intention of staying. All of the negative reviews here are true. The noise, the trash, the bugs, and the Section 8 renters. In fact it is so bad here, the office staff handed out flyers warning people that if they choose to do laundry here they should make sure they lock the laundry room doors when they are inside. I have never done laundry here as I honestly never felt it was safe. I chose to go to a safe facility instead. On more than one occasion, I've had to call the Lisle Police Department to report gangs of teenagers, numbering 10-15 at a time, gathering outside my window, yelling, cursing and throwing garbage out their car windows. Overall, I completely agree with the poster who recommended that you stay away from the Villages on Maple.
