i've been here for about a year and when i first moved in, i thought i was getting a great deal-715/month for a large 1 bedroom..i was wrong. The laundry rooms are scary and half the time the washer/dryer doesnt work. The elevator works only part of the time as well. The parking lot is a joke. You cant have visitors past 11 without a visitor's pass, but whenever i tried to get visitor's passes, the office would be closed or they'd limit the passes to 2 per unit. The bugs here are absolutly terriable. I live on the 5th floor and i get those little fruit fly things so badly here, that i have fly paper rolls hanging all over the place. I also get silverfish here all the time, which means that there is probably water leaking some where. The air conditioning in my unit never worked, and when i asked for it to be fixed, they came out and it was ok for about 2 weeks. It took another few weeks for them to come out again, and now it's ok, but i cant get it any cooler then 76 degrees in this place. I see mold growing in the walls from where the air vent is, so there's a leak in the walls, which i mentioned to the office, and i still have yet to see a maint. person here for it. I have asthma so the mold in the walls and the poorly ventilated air unit makes it really hard for me to breath. For 4th of july this week, we got notices in the mail about how we cannot have visitors for this whole week at any time, and passes were not valid b/c towing will be active 24 hours-i thought that was ridiculous because i wanted my family and friends to visit and see the lisle fest this year, but i guess i cant have visitors in my own home. The walls in my unit are ok with noise, but the door is paper thin. I can hear my neighbors down the hall fighting and having parties every other night. Don't be fooled by how nice the office staff may seem, once you move in, they dont want to have anything else to do with you.

I'm glad the management cared to block off parking 4th of July. I've lived in Lisle for the past 10 years and the Eyes to the Sky festival is HUGE! I'd be pissed if I didn't have a place to park my own car.
