We were interested in these apts b/c of the price, which seemed reasonable. However, when we got there we were not at all impressed - the buildings look like they are falling apart. The townhouse we went to see wasn't at all nice, all old appliances, small. The one we saw smelled heavily of paint and some other weird odors. Everything in the apt looks old. In the apt building it was awful!! As soon as you walk in the elevator (which is small & looks very dirty) you notice a strong, heavy, foul odor, which we also smelled an awful odor in the laundry room. The apt itself didn't look nice at all, it was filthy. They told us they only clean the apts the day before tenants move in, however, this is not a good policy b/c I could see bug droppings around the fridge and on the stove. The windows don't open properly and were covered in spider webs. I could deal with all this if the apts were cheap, say $600/month, but again, IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. The only nice thing is that it is next to Lisle park district, but that is still not worth moving there. I also get the feeling that the management is just glossing over the information, in order to get us to hurry up and sign a lease. I can not imagine that maintanance can take care of issues at these apartments because there is just too many (my guess is about a thousand apts, they cover a few blocks) Another negative is that they try to get you to split utilities with other tenants in the buildings, ridiculus. Anyone who already lives here, good luck to you, I couldn't do it. It seems like the place is very neglected.

I live in one of the 3bedroom townhomes. The maintenance does respond right away. I will give them that. They aren't always the best, but anytime I've called for anything they show up the same day. I live by a bunch of young guys. They are always out partying late, pretty much every night. The cops have showed up numerous times, I've complained to Management, but the guys are still here. I am moving out in a few weeeks and I will be glad to be gone. I've been here only a year. It was okay at first, but it just seemed to turn very ghetto quickly. Trash everywhere, no parking, etc...
