When my boyfriend and I moved here in October of 2007 we were so excited to find a place that was a good size and decently priced. After being there one day, we were already being severely disappointed. The rugs (which supposedly had been cleaned before we moved in) had an inch thick layer of cat hair all along the edges of the rooms so thick that you couldn't see the carpet! My boyfriend being highly allergic to cats, this was highly problematic. We were told on that friday (the day after we moved in) that they wouldn't be able to clean them until monday. So for the weekend my boyfriend had to suffer. We have had bug infestation after bug infestation whether its huge carpenter ants, beetles, earwigs, centipedes, millipedes, silver fish, you name it we had it and BAD! There were plants growing through our living room carpet. The toilet was leaking water onto the floor and even after numerous calls to the staff was not fixed until a week later and the disgusting tiles that were soaked were not removed for another week. My car was badly damaged by their maintenance staff plowing the lots and they never offered to pay for the damages. Our air conditioner went out for 3 days and when the maintenance man came to fix it (who barely speaks english) he was there for a half hour staring at the thermostat before he said he was off work and it would have to wait until monday. They only agreed to send him out on a saturday because i went to the office myself and was completely irate with them. We can hear everything our neighbors are doing day and night. There are always kids running around screaming at all hours of the night hitting cars with baseball bats and running into everyone elses lawns. We had to stuff towels under our front door because the cold coming in during the winter was so bad, this was no draft this was straight up wind blowing straight in the house. And the pilot light goes out on our stove consistently, I cannot count the number of times we've come home to find the whole house smelling like gas. Basically for this place, you get what you pay for, cheap rent for an even cheaper place with rude and inconsiderate staff, a building that looks as if it will fall apart if you look at it wrong, and an all around horrible experience.

I am glad to see that I'm not the only one having problems. Fortunately I will be moving in 4 days and it cannot happen soon enough. All of a sudden there has been a HUGE number of crickets in my apartment! Mind you I do not keep the windows open and I live alone (on the second floor) so there are no little kids running in and out, but just within the last 2 weeks I must have killed at least 7 crickets.....not to mention the dead ones I'm coming across as I pack. This place is so disgusting and I cannot wait until I am OUT OF HERE! I've heard kids out at 7 in the morning....and it's not on school mornings. My car was hit twice in the parking lot....and did I mention how COMPLETELY DARK it is in the parking lot at night!!!I won't even get back on the utilities and my feeling about those.
