I lived in Wellington Creek for over 5 years. In those 5 years, it has turned into a nightmare. The windows and patio doors are so old that there is no thermopane left, so water, snow, & ice come in leaving your walls moldy, disgusting, and frozen shut every winter. The air conditioner/heaters are wall units from 1970 which do NOT operate. Security is a joke - all the doors have been broken into numerous times. The police were there nightly for drug busts & told me to MOVE OUT ASAP. Parking is insufficient and cars are vandalized in the parking lot; the appliances are from year 1 and rarely work. This includes the 2 washers and dryers, which are not enough for the 100 people in this building and DO NOT WORK. You can hear every detail of your neighbor's lives. The dumpster overflows every week and rotting garbage sits here until the following week. Management does not care at all. There is NO maintenence. The lawn is cut roughly once a month in the summer and there is NO shovelling or salting in the winter AT ALL. They refuse to replace the old windows/doors and refused to servce my broken heater for 4 years. My kitchen faucet leaked for 5 years and was never fixed. The fire alarm is not wired corrently and goes off 5-6 times per month for no reason. The electrical system is so old and poor that you can not plug two things into one socket without blowing a fuse. I cannot express enough - that this apartment complex is HELL. Avoid it like the plague!
