I lived at International Village for a year. They weren't too bad never had any problems with stuff breaking or really needing maintenance. A bar is in walking distance and I was in Essex which is just far enough away not to hear it. Noise was never really a problem (and I lived on the first floor). It was somewhat expensive, you can find cheaper in Wheaton or Naperville and they are not too far away. Laundry room was not the best, but there was usually a washer/dryer open when I needed it. I suggest living on the second floor with the laundry room. But good luck getting your furniture up there because the elevator is way too small for that and they have signs posted not to use it for moving. The garages are really nice if you can afford it. I did receive a warning once from a cop to be careful especially in this complex .
