Aspen Courts seemed like a good choice, the apartments were clean, new, and in a good location. Plus we lived in a quiet building. We moved in and everything seemed ok. As far as being a quiet building, we could here EVERYTHING from our neighbors, even if they were just listening to the radio. The balconies are small and aren't really good for anything. The two bedroom layout wasn't that great. The apartments are built cheap, if you even rub against the wall it leaves a mark. Our kitchen floor had cracks in it. My shower barely had any water pressure. Parking was ridiculous, good luck having any visitors. There were four visitor spots for our entire complex.
The management is a whole different story. Rent was due on a Sunday and the office was closed, I went in at 9AM Monday morning and was fined $10.00. My car broke down and I had to use a loaner from my parents, I went in to ask Rick if I could get a temporary parking pass, he told me I needed to peel the sticker off my car and put it on my mom's car. When I moved out I cleaned. I was fined for things I had cleaned that were dirty when I moved in, like the blinds, which I had dusted, I was charge $15.00. I was charged because the tray in our sliding door was dirty, which was dirty when we moved in. My roommate was still living in the apartment but I was still fined because there were crumbs on the kitchen counter.
