Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I lived in a duplex for the 2007-2008 school year and I really liked it. The noise wasn't bad at all, there was plenty of room, and the apartment was renovated not that long ago so it's in good shape. The down side would have to be our electric/heating bill in the winter. It was pretty high, I'm guessing mostly because we had two floors and the lower level was always cold while the upper level was hot, so that kind of stunk. But, I'm planning on moving back into another apartment here next year. I really liked that we could grill out because we had the back patio area. I definitely felt safe living here and I never had any problems with paying rent or neighbors.
