Rector apartments, in retrospect, is probably one of the better places to live in Macomb. The house that we rented last school year (606 North Johnson) was a cruddy place, and the house could've possibly toppled at any moment, but when compared to any other houses available to students, it was above average.

This is mostly due to the fact that halfway through the school year, Rector changed ownership. Fretly and Hunsicker (sp') was constantly fixing anything that broke without any trouble. Due to the shape of the house, they were over quite a bit, but typically they'd be over to fix problems almost immediately.

When compared to most other landlords, you could do a lot worse.
