Let me save you some money, time and frustration. The other review on these apartments is right on. At first the place seems nice and quiet. The staff are even nice. However, it doesn't take long at all to find out the truth. For the first couple of months our carpet was constantlyly wet and dirty''' Then we were plagued with worms, brown spiders and lady bugs. There is no bug control whatsoever (Orkin man') We understood why they had dark brown carpet....can't see the worms or the spiders very good that way. Rent was cheap, but going up by the time we left. When our lease was coming to an end, we made plans to move, which they didn't like. They even tried to stick it to us by not giving our deposit back, but their lease agreement was their downfall. They told me thay had been to court many times before, for the same reason and were prepared to go again. Thanks to the lawyer at WIU, that wasn't necessary. It was their own fault....had they already spent our deposit'

Laundry is annoying....one little shack with six washers and dryers for over 100 people at least''' Come on now.

If your neighbor's toliet leaks, you will know it by the excess of water on your own bathroom floor.

The outside area could be really dark unless everyone leaves their outside light on.

Our electirc bill for either heating or airconditioning was always over $150. The place was extremely drafty. Closing the front door was like leaving it open!

I did see them putting new carpet in one apartment as we were moving out, but it was long overdue. The area is quiet and not in the heart of Macomb, but does that really matter' I should have listend carefully to they way they (she) ansewered the phone....it leaves a lasting impression and could give you some insight into the way they operate.
