Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
Read above.
I lived there from 1999-2001 - gave them 10,000 for rent for those two years.
In that time, our hot water heater went out for a week; they attempted to raise rent in the middle of our lease; let the property & building deteriorate; did not screen new tenants (we had incidents of petty crime after getting new "questionable" tenants; are rude and do not communicate with their tenants for the most part (unless it benefits them).
DO NOT RENT from them, they don?t care about you or the property. They just want your $$ every month.
(update, May 18, 2002) - FINALLY got my deposit back (all of it), after taking them to court, and they could not provide any reason to keep it. The unfortunate thing' I had to drive 2 hours from my current location and take 3 days off to get it. They had the check written, but it was not signed on the first court date - so...I had to come back. Crooks crooks crooks.
