I'm still not sure how to feel about Alpine...

When I first found Alpine apartments, it was on accident. I was trying to move into the Mansions also owned by the management of Alpine. But I didn t make enough money to live there. So the agent suggested I try Alpine. I made just enough money to move in there. They had put in new carpet. I love the large balcony and living room. In the fall I had to call maintenance to turn on the heat and after that call it was all down hill. When the snow started melting it started leaking into my kitchen. I live on the 3rd floor and the roof is flat. They came and "fixed" it. Fixing it meant, peeling off the paint and repainting it. I m no maintenance man, but I m pretty sure that isn t going to fix the problem. And it didn t, needless to say it leaked many more times before the snow finally stopped. I even came home on night to find my vanity cut away from the wall and a large hole in the wall. All my things that had been sitting on the counter where carelessly thrown in the sink. I felt like I was robbed in a way. As if someone came and rummaged through my belongings and just through them to the side when they were done. I guess I should mention the neighbors I had. They just seemed to multiply. There was about 5-6 people living in there. The only way I knew is because I heard them. They were sooo loud!!!!
I m not raciest what so ever, but these Indian people I lived next to were ridiculous!!! And one day a baby suddenly appeared. It cried allll the time. And the bedroom was on the opposite wall of my living room. Wasn t very pleasant for a college student trying to study and finish projects. I can t forget about the smelly hallways. Lucky the doors are heavy and the smell doesn t come into my apartment. In the winter when it snows a lot, people park like retards in the parking lot and it takes away for it to be cleared. Oh! And someone loosened my lug nuts on my tire twice!
As of right now I have a half a year left on my lease and can t wait to get out. I currently have two large holes in my ceiling from the heavy rain last weekend and the dry wall is rotting and smells horrible. The guy said we need to let it dry out. No, it needs to be redone completely. They just started to fix the front stairs on every building, when it s really the roofs that need to be done. I really can t stay here any long, the rent went up when I renewed and I m afraid to see what else will happen to this place if I stay.
