I have had a much better experience here than most of the writers here. I think that the apartments are very well maintained. I just got all new windows and sliding glass door installed in the fall and the place looked brand new when I moved in (new kitchen, new bathrooms, new carpet, freshly painted). It is really, really quiet as far as I am concerned. I have never heard any of my neighbors and as far as the airplane noise it doesn't really bother me that much and besides I knew that I would be living 5 minutes from O'Hare. The heat/air conditioning is a little poor but my electric bill has not been more than $50 yet even in January for a 2 bedroom unit. The cable and internet is also a hassle because the provider is horrible and expensive. I would definitely have a satelite dish if I was on the right side of the building to have one. Parking is pretty good. I don't always feel that safe walking outside in the dark and there are a lot of teenagers that hang around outside late at night. Also, the swimming pool during the summer is very crowded and dirty and we could hardly use it. For the most part this has been a positive renting experience so far compared to other apartments I have lived in.
