Rent-a-Dump

It starts with flowers and green grass, sand volley ball courts, updated playground, 2 unkept tennis courts, something that is supposed to resemble a basketball court, a moldy puddle for a waterfall sanctuary, exercise room/clubhouse/business center that attracts mostly dust and a pool for no one to enjoy.
The laundry rooms/storage units are not always locked and have been vandalized. Along with that, last fall two separate police reports were filed and published noting that attempted armed robbery had occurred in a apartment building hallway which is not locked. Bums frequently go through the trash, loiter, and even bother tenants at the playground while drinking beer at the picnic tables.
Visitor parking is the worst. Different people I know have been towed 4 times without warning. The signs posted are vague and erratically placed so even the towing company doesn't always tow the correct people. Yes, that means tenants with valid parking sticker have been towed. Oh yeah, when the complex roads/parking lots were repaved they towed any owner who didn't move their vehicle. I travel twice a year for business and at least two more times for pleasure so imagine coming home to brand new payment and your car towed because you weren't here to move it.
Maintenance must be contracted out because it takes days or even weeks to get something fixed. Sometimes the work is so poor it has to be repaired over and over again.
Raccoons, possums, and skunks can be seen nightly, and the occasional "water bug" roach can be seen in/around the complex.
Upon moving out the managment sent a letter with the final months rent stating that I must spackel all the holes in the walls, clean the carpet so there is no visiable stains, and all apliances must look new. THAT'S WHAT THEY HAVE HIRED PEOPLE TO DO. IT WOULD COST MORE FOR ME TO DO THESE THINGS THAN IT WOULD TO GET THE DEPOSIT BACK. WHAT AWFUL POLICIES AND WHAT AWFUL PEOPLE CREATING/INFORCING THE POLOCIES.

Lastly and most important, this complex along with ownership/management could be a reason people go postal.
