I don?t recommend renting there. We lived there for a year in 2001.

The managment was not helpful at all, they weren?t returning the phone calls and lied since the day one.

When we were moving in, we noticed a broken closet door and were told it will be fixed the next working day. It wasn?t after a year, despite numerous reminders from us.

There were lots of other things needing repair, including the lock in front door(!) but managment was unresponsive. The only thing they fixed was leaking faucet, they responded quickly. I guess they noticed it would cost them some money, since water was included in rent.

There was just one washer in our part of the building and when it broked, it wasn?t fixed for several months, even though we called them every week. We had to use public laundromat.

We heard lots of complaints from other renters, so it wasn?t just us.
Airconditioning was so poor, that on hot days we had over 80 degrees inside. The maintance came over to fix it, but after checking it out, they said it was in good working condition (it worked a little bit, since there was 100 heat index outside, but who likes having 80 degrees in their apartment') and new (looked like 30 years old to me).

After we moved out, we were charged for cleaning. Honestly, the apartment was cleaner, than on the first day we moved in. The appliances were so old that there was no way they could look neat, but we scrubbed them and the whole apartment for several hours. I?m pretty sure they didn?t even bother to clean them, because when we moved in, I had to scrub the refrigerator before I could put the food in. But I suppose they charged the people living there before us.

Maybe it?s not the situation with all of the buildings, but you?ll never know.
