A nice apartment in a not so nice area

I like Forest Cove, but I hate the area. Forest Cove has really nice landscaping, and the apartments are a good size. The maintance is also really good; any time we call, they respond very quickly.
But the area is awful. Forest Cove is along Busse, a very busy road. It is also a pretty industrial area, which means there are a lot of semi's and trucks driving by all the time. And right up the street, there is a gas refinery. There is no where nice to walk to, no parks, nothing. Just a lot of industry and trucks. If you stay on the apartment's grounds, you'll be happy. But if you want to live in a place where you can ride your bike, jog, or if you have kids, this is not the best area for that.
Also, the parking situation is bad. On the side I live on, if you come home anytime after 8 pm, forget it: you're walking a couple of blocks to get to your front door. What makes this very fustrating is that on the other side of the complex, there are far more parking spots, and most go empty. If you live on that side, you're fine, but if you live on the side I live on, you'll think twice about going out for a late dinner, for fear of not finding a spot to park in later.
