I have lived here at Forest Cove for a few years now. I have read all the other posts that have been placed here. Honestly, I love my home. Within the last year there was a change made in the office, and all for the better. Beneta cares about this place and all that live here. If you have lived here for over a year than you know what I'm talking about. If I have any problems whatsoever with my unit, someone is here usually with a day or two, if its an emergency the maint. staff are on call 24/7. I have seen many great changes here at the Cove...They have redone the parking lot compltely, I notice that since this change in the office occurred, that things are being run in a much better way than before. Very seldom do I have to call about any outside light that is out...I have NEVER had a bug in my apartment. Unlike other places in the area. Ocassionally you will get a loud neighnor, but for the most part people do respect each other. Any issue that you have, Beneta and Karen and Amy will address it right away, they are honest and fair people. Unlike the former Manager....I do see the police in and out of here, I'd rather they be around than not as the park in the back was getting out of control...which is not the Forest cove property but the city of Mt. Prospect that is right behind the apartment buildings. I see good changes happening there as well... We do have a neighborhood watch here, I do feel safe, these buildings are clean, and there was much work done in this past year, including interior and exterior painting and repairs. I have never had an issue with any of the maint. guys, they are all pleasant to deal with. I agree with some of the other posts, come take a look , drive thru here at different times of the day and night, don't be afraid to ask questions, and then go look at the surrounding apartments in the area, I truly believe you will see quite a difference. Also for the record...this property has a "Crime Free" clause that every resident has to sign, and should they breach that crime free clause, this management takes aggressive action, I have seen this for myself, and i also know that they also do criminal background checks.

So you are saying that Beneta , Karen and Amy have taken serious steps to improve the conditions of Card board type boxes apartment? Broken Windows? Old /Rotten Carpets? These things are important and really make you feel at home. Prices start with $850.00 per month. Are you convinced that condition of Forest Cove apartments are different now than a year ago? Did you not take a tour round the apartments and noticed broken window Screen and a stinking pond that is mostique breeder? How did you miss all of that? Please stop writing fake post pretending you are one of the forest cove renters because if you do that you are not honest even to yourself

I agree, it seems that several of the most recent posts sound more like the selling points pushed when I moved in by "The Cove" staff (what tenant has called it that?) This sounds more like an ad than a review. As for the Neighborhood Watch, there is a meeting but few show up. The park is frequently flooded and all the grills and volleyball court even the bridge at one point were washed out. I have never seen people gather there. People pass through, this is about the extent of its usefulness. Maybe soccer, some times.
