We lived in Huntington Square for about a year and a half and recently moved because we bought a house. This was our first apartment and we were very pleased with the complex. Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit was very clean and nicely sized for the 2 of us. The kitchen was a little bit small, but it was very functional. We never had to call maintenance to get anything fixed. We also never had any problems with bugs; they came in yearly to spray. All utilities were included except electricity, which averaged $30-$40 per month, which was really nice. Parking was ample and convenient with good snow removal. While we don't have children, there were quite a few in the complex and it seemed pretty family friendly. Yearly there were 2 complex-wide parties thrown, which were enjoyable and included food and a fun raffle. The pool was well-maintained and always manned. Management was very friendly and recognized the majority of the tenants. There also never seemed to be any problems with the neighborhood and the Mt. Prospect police recognized it as a crime-free area. Walking to the grocery stores was very convenient as well. Overall, if we were going to continue renting, there would be no reason to leave the complex. We enjoyed living here a lot.
