i live in "the mansions" currently with fireplace, cathedral ceilings, etc etc. and like it. i had to have maintenance come out for the furnace once and they were there within a day. if you can afford it, from what i'm reading "the mansions" would be the place to be. lots of room, 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 baths, fireplace, big living room and dining room, nice balcony. ok, here are the things i HATE! the office crew is rude and seem to think they know it all. the buildings fall apart and are not fixed. aluminum siding falls off or is blown off, and most of the balconys have no wood...just bare concrete. i have been locked out of my balcony slider twice! when you close the slider it locks behind you! that was really fun in january with no jacket (didn't plan on being locked out.) this also happened to 2 other neighbors of mine. no one ever checked out the issue. if you use the balcony leave the door open a crack. TONS OF GOOSE CRAP EVERYWHERE! these bastards never stop breading or crapping and yet the apt. complex threatens you with eviction if you don't pickup your dog's mess. WHAT ABOUT THE 500 LBS. OF GOOSE CRAP! forget about using the sidewalks in summer.....goose crap everywhere! i won't live here again; way too much money and paperwork to even think of transferring to another apartment within the complex (will be needing a 1 bedroom.)
