Urgent & Attention to Motorola Employees

Learn from my experience. The management of this company has been mastered on deception. Here is the horror story.

If you ask them to read the lease contract and addendum BEFORE making any commitments, they find any reason to prevent you reading the contract at the time of your application. They delay up to a point that you have no choice but to sign. They conceal the lease contract until the very last minute. They show the contract on a panic environment such as the movers waiting in front of the building. Movers charge hourly rate and it is not less than $120/hr. You have no choice, but to sign it. What I saw on the contract was so brutal. The rent was $25 more than what they promised, the $87.50 non-refundable security deposit was replaced with $806 refundable deposit, early termination fees were astronomic, the unit was 100sf less than what they have advertised (850sf), in case of legal dispute, tenants are obligated to pay the attorney and all other expenses. They do this especially to high-tech professionals who work for prominent companies such as Motorola. They select their victims among the ------- and Chinese people. Management usually confiscates their security deposit since it is difficult for the tenant to fly back from Asia to pursue a legal case to get back their security deposit. If you put a comment on the lease contract such as ?Conditionally signed without reading? they don?t register your car. Since your car is not registered, they tow the car. You pay $150 for towing and $20 for the taxicab. If you don?t take the phrase out of the lease contract, then they issue a notice of termination right after first month. And you lose what ever you paid for the moving expenses and security deposit right after the first month.
