Rent is far more than the apartment's worth, and yet they have the audacity to increase the rent yearly, because you are foreign-born resident (I am an Indian) and management very well knows that it is expensive and painful to move out. In brief, you are trapped.

I am paying $120.00 more every month, for a one-bedroom apartment, than a new tenant who recently moved in a same size unit on the same floor (!) This is frustrating and unfair. Further, the staff in the leasing office is unfriendly, unsympathetic and arrogant once you sign the lease.

Deposit for security is very high and it is very unlikely to get it back. They charge for no good reasons. For instance, Alice deducts several hundreds of dollars from your deposit for noise complaint; she doesn??t have to prove this. ??Some one complained for lout TV?? that??s all! It is expensive to travel from India and fight with these people to get back your deposit. It requires at least three court hearings and several thousands of dollars for the attorney. The management aware of this situation. Keep in mind: Alice asks you a return address to send you a check for security deposit. This is a ploy. They never send you a full refund if you give an address in India. Just give a friend??s address here and say you will be around.

The parking area needs to be straightened out, the roads are screaming for repair.
The trash containers are horrible. That smell just kills you. Cat-size-mice are running around the trash disposers.

I would not recommend this filthy place to my enemy. Look around, and you will find lots of apartments with better deals and lower rents.

You are so right about the office staff. So friendly when you come to rent then turn into snakes when you live here! It is a dump!!!
