Timberlake

This is the first time I've ever resorted to these extremes to warn people about renting from a place. The thing is, I checked this website before moving in and didn't think a place could be as bad as the way previous reviewers claimed. I have had nothing but problems with my apartment since I moved in, and the management will not do anything about it.

First off, all the blame cannot be entirely placed on the management. The tenants in this complex are less than respectful of this property. At all times you will hear loud music, step in dog ----, nearly gag near the dumpsters, and be disgusted by the amount of trash that gets thrown all over the property. From what I understand, the current management is new. They have repainted the buildings and are repaving the parking lots. The building looks good from the outside, but what's that matter?

Now to the negative......
As you have read in previous reviews.....BUGS. If you like sharing your apartment with roaches, this is your place. There are many other "species" of bugs in my apartment, but roaches are by far the dominant. Next, the reluctance of the management to correct any problems. I've made numerous attempts to have problems in my apartment fixed. I'm sitting on about 100 promises of action, but still nothing. They blow us off as if we don't matter. When talking to neighbors, I learned for a FACT I am not alone when I say they management doesnt correct problems.

When we pay rent, we are supposed to be allowed access to the swimming pool and fitness room. Neither of these have been open since I signed the lease. Even though I would probably never use the pool, I would like to use the fitness room. It's my understanding that we are being "punished" for vandalism that occurred in the fitness room long before I moved in. I'm being "punished" for something I didn't do, but I'm still paying for it. Maybe they should take the pool and fitness room off their list of amenities.

As I mentioned in the subject....I am counting the days. I am counting the days until my lease is up. Take what you will from this review but I will tell you this......If you told me 1 year ago that I would be taking the time to write a review about the condition of the place I lived, I would have told you that you were crazy. If I still havent convinced you and you are going to live here.....learn Spanish.
