Finding out things aren't as good as they sound.

I rented here in large part for the amenties and the sales pitch that described when the pool was available and how long it stayed open. This weekend I found out that it was all a bunch of hooey as the pool was not open for the majority of one of the nicest weekends we've had. I had invited family to enjoy the facilities, only to find that the complex manager had decided not to open the pool. This wasn't due to anything specific, just that the manager didn't want it open. The office staff had no idea why and couldn't give a valid explanation. Not only that, but it wasn't posted anywhere! All other apartment complexes and the city of Naperville had their pools open. Some complexes had opened the previous weekend. Everyone at this complex had said for weeks that it would be open the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I ended up paying for my guests to swim somewhere else, even though I pay for a pool at my complex. This was a horrible decision on the part of the management and shows very poor judgement. Be wary if you come here and the sales pitch sounds too good to be true.
