This place had to have been constructed over a weekend. If you live on the first floor be prepared to hear every little sound from your upstairs neighbors. I have lived on the first floor before and you didnt hear the footsteps like you do here. When they use their balcony door it shakes the windows in your apartment. When they use the disposal its insane how loud that is! Everytime they come home you hear every step they go to get up there. Every neighbor I have had above me has used their patio until the wee hours of the night during work weeks and it just so happens that its right outside your bedroom window. They need to hire more people-count on a good week before anyone comes out for repairs. Its not that they are slow workers, its that they are understaffed. I have repaired many things in my apartment because its just easier to do it myself then to call. If you decide to move in here go to Menards and get yourself several different bug sprays and Grants Ants traps because you will need them all year long. Oh and salt and a shovel for winter. Hope you like centipedes because they are more common then bees during warmer months. Dont plan on using your patio because the geese just crap all over it and the birds are crazy here. I have been here for awhile and everytime I attempt to go on the patio I end up back in here right away due to the geese gangs here. They claim to be strict with their policies here but yet they let a car with expired plates, missing the passenger window and 4 flat tires sit here for 4 months while it snowed and rained inside of it taking up spaces for tenants who lived right outside that space. (Cars like that are supposed to be towed) They have an excuse for every issue you may have and often just lie or tell you what you want to hear so that they can leave at 6pm without dealing with the issues. The lights in the parking lot are burnt out more than they are working and even with all of them working its poorly lit. I cannot imagine the A reviews on this place-either management is writing those or its a relative who gets special treatment. Oh and one last bit of advise-before you move in here with kids-check out the Illinois sex offender website, you just never know who's living next door.
