I have lived here 3 years now and it is nice. Before moving here, I would drive by and admire what a nice complex it is. I love having my own washer and dryer and the balconies are really nice. I have walk in closets and vaulted ceilings and I love how they have lots of windows. The parking is pretty good and so is the staff. It's not the cheapest place in town, but I don't mind paying a little more to live in a nice place that is taken care of. (thanks for the new streetlamps and parking lot)

Previous reviewers need to give these people a break! Stuff gets done here. The office people and maintenance men take good care of everyone. And the snow plowing is fine! I have lived other places that don't do the walk ways at all. The Arbors shovels the walks and right up to your door. Last winter we had alot of snow and they did a great job.

I am proud to live here and my friends always say it is beautiful.

To the negative posters: Life is not perfect. People are not perfect. But overall, the Arbors is a great place to live.

Yes, we too enjoy having a month or so there each year in summer - it is our first choice. While you pointed out many positives you forgot the great swimming pools and beach volleyball court that doubles as a huge sandpit. It is also an excellent location for 2 playgrounds close by and the forest preserve over the road. On the downside the noise from upstairs people is annoying - so too the aircondioning units right outside the bedroom windows - particularly at bedtime when the quiet magnifies the noise. We have been upstairs people also so we know from the complaints down below that just normal walking resonates way too loud. Despite the noise, we prefer downstairs now because the upstairs airconditioner just can't cope with the heat on those super-hot days.

Well, whatever you do, don't complain to maintenance about the A/C. They'll make up some story as to why it is is hot and won't fix the problem.
