DONT DO IT.

I recently planned to rent an apartment with this community. They told me that I was approved with a $300 security deposit. Then once I accepted and they faxed me they information, they called me a week later and doubled the security deposit. When I told them that I was going to decline because that was not the original agreement, the manager called and demanded that I pay them the original $300 security deposit anyway. I don't know if she thought I was crazy or what. I knew that they could not do this, and I told her that. She then hung up the phone on me. I guess she'd forgotten that she faxed me the information with the original $300 deposit request on it. When I called back to get the number of the owner or someone in charge, they told me the owner did not want to ever be contacted. That shows how much he or she cares about the tenants. There is no reason to try and take advantage of people. That's BADDDD business. I am soooo glad I did not rent there. You should think twice.
