I am truly disappointed in the management at Brittany Springs apartments. I currently live there, and have felt slighted by the management on more than one occasion. There are maybe two girls there who have been very pleasant and try to be helpful. The other women are no help at all. Just the other day, I simply asked one of the employees if they could make sure there are always Clorox Wipes or some sort of disinfectant in the fitness room. She did get the wipes for me, but when I tried to ask her if the janitorial staff could try to make sure they are always available, she honesty shut the door in my face when I was mid sentence. I was aghast!
Also, we have been without the use of the hot tub (which is an advertsied ammenity on the website) since December 19, 2008. It is out of order, and from what they have told me, they are working on fixing it. Well, I sincerely doubt it takes 2 months to get a hot tub fixed. I even asked one of the employees to have the property manager to call me regarding my concern. I requested this on January 10th. It is now February 6th, and I have not heard from her yet. What atrocious customer service!
All I can say on the positive side is that the maintence guys are super helpful! We have had a couple of issues where we needed someone to look at our dryer and our furnance. They were very prompt and very friendly. If it wasn't for them, I would say Brittany Springs is absolutely not worth the price you pay in rent.
My advice if you do rent here, don't expect to use the ammentities without getting a headache, and certainly do not expect any sort of customer service from the managers. Oh, and we are certainly not renewing our lease in June. Forget that.

Some of the office staff is nice. Others seem like they are speaking down to you. If you have problems, you have to document everything. Send a fax or email so that you have a copy. The maintenance guys are great for the most part. One is really quiet, but even he is nice if you make it a point to say "hi" and talk to him. These guys have helped residents jump start their cars and given great advice when asked. We had considered staying another year and switching units to save some money and the maintenance guys were very encouraging. If they had worked in the office, maybe we would have stayed! It was just too expensive to renew. Switching units would have only helped us for the year because we knew our rent would jump the next year too. It's too bad that the office staff isn't consistently nice and more willing to work with the tenants. For as much money as these apartments cost, the staff should make it a point to really listen to their tenants and try to work with them.
