We lived at this complex for a while and have mixed feelings about it. The location and the area schools are very good. There are some great recreational options - an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness room, tennis court, volleyball court and a cute playground. We actually liked all the bunnies - at least they aren't using tons of chemicals around the complex to kill them off and make the residents sick! There are some nice layouts for the apartments and there is great storage in most units. I never heard any of my neighbors complain about needing to get a garage or a storage unit offsite.

There were some definite cons though. The annual increases, if you choose to renew, can be significant - and you are likely to pay substantially more than a "new tenant". Our old unit style was advertised online for about $300 less than our lease renewal would have been. If you choose to rent here, be prepared for the rent hike each year. Also, if you are in an apartment where there are bedrooms on both sides of the living room, one of the bedrooms will be really cold in the winter. So, be prepared to pay more for your heating costs or plan to be chilly in one of the rooms. In terms of maintenance, the men working around the complex were always helpful. If they could assist you with something - they did! But, if you end up in a unit with serious issues, it may be a battle to get them completely fixed. On the ground level, there were rocks in the air vents, which was a little weird and concerning - and it could smell really "earthy" if you didn't run the air or heat constantly. We could also hear our upstairs neighbors' conversations in the pantry/utility room or if they walked around with shoes on - it could get to be noisy at times. If you rent upstairs, be aware that your downstairs neighbors may hear what's going on in your unit! We typically didn't hear our neighbors off to the side of us - which was nice.

The management was pretty similar to what you'll find at any other complex. It was just disappointing to see that they had little interest in keeping existing tenants. My biggest warning is - even if you get a great deal to move in, be prepared to move in a year or two - or be willing to pay a LOT more than your new neighbors! Every other complex I have ever lived at worked to keep old and new tenants close in price, at this complex - they did not do this.
