Glad to see they finally booted that loser Coleen. Seriously - that woman was BAD NEWS. I'm surprised it took them so long but Brookdale Lakes is so much better off now. (Makes me question AIMCO, but now that she is gone, I respect them a little more again.)

This property is beautiful and it used to be well run back when Dan and Melissa were here. Hopefully it will go back to being that way again. I hear they are both still with the company managing elsewhere so that is good.

Maintenance = AWESOME. Hassan is probably one of the nicest people on the planet. If you ever hear a complaint about him, I'd be shocked!

Grounds are lovely, apartments are spacious. Couldn't ask for more from a quiet, quaint neighborhood such as this. I'd recommend it totally. I love it.

I couldn't disagree more. The old manager was fantastic. Very pleasant. Very helpful. The new staff is awful. Not helpful. Very rude. Your review sounds like that of a bitter employee trying to get even. Sad.

I agree with the original comment. Colleen was awful. She would be nice to your face but in reality, she spoke badly of everyone behind their backs. She was shrewd and nasty and when you pissed her off, she made you pay dearly. I saw it many times as I was her friend or so I thought. The new employees are indifferent and not very engaging. The property is lovely and the units are great. Hassin is the best, I agree. Hopefully, they will find a good staff soon or they will lose great tenants.

I've been living here for 11 years and this group is BY FAR the worse yet. This place used to be great, but now no one answers the phones or returns calls, and when you finally go to the office to talk with them they treat you like crap. For the money they charge us we all deserve better!

Colleen was trash! Thank GOD they finally got rid of her. Because of her, so many people quit and moved out! She was a walking fair-housing violation. I can't believe no one sued the company because of her!
