I have lived here over a yer now. I love my apartment but the office sucks. They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!.Hello to aimco...if you cared about your money get a new office team.People move out left and right because they hate the management. rent always goes up even when they dont update your apartment but charge you for the price of the updated one. Maintance is great...when the office gives them a work order. The office is soo nice...when you look at an apartment but once you live here your are treated like a pheasant in a third world country. PLease hope and pray that Aimco makes changes quick or im out of here! I will join the rest who were smart and broke the lease... $2000 WILL be worth not having to deal with brookdale lakes crap!

I absolutely agree. I've lived at Brookdale lakes 11 years - it used to be great, but now.... The office staff is awful - they never answer the phone or return calls. I've already reported them to the Aimco Corporate office and they don't respond either! Very, very frustrating, and for the rent they charge us we all deserve better.

So glad that I got out of this apartment complex a few years ago, it sounds like nothing has changed. I was there back in 2003 - 2004 and the office staff at that time wasnt any better. And you might as well not even both contacting Aimco, they dont care. The only thing that Aimco is concerned about is: are our employees in the office to process the rent payments, yes then good. All the tenants can be ignored because they've signed a lease & are paying their rent. That is Aimco's way of thinking & apparently always will be their way of thinking.
