When I first moved to Brookdale, It was wonderful. Then EQUITY took over, and the management (leasing team) came in. I lived there for 2 years, complained about a naked woman who liked to walk around in full view of the parking lot (and my 3 y.o. neice) and they did nothing, so I posed a note about it. The next month, they decided NOT to renew my lease. I asked "why" and they said I no longer met their ?criteria? for living there. WHAT' Im a professional working on a masters degree, and my salary went UP from the time I originally signed the lease! It was that they just didn?t like ME.

The pool was nice, apt was OK (when I moved out there were BUGS EVERYWHERE, comming up from underneath the carpet!) I was also charged for the replacement of carpet, which I was told was due to be removed anyway.

I would definitely look somewhere else for an apt.


OH, one more thing, the "Rent to home ownership" is a BIG LIE. Please don't think part of your rent will go towards a house, b/c it's JUST NOT TRUE! odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
