We've lived here for about a year and a half now and couldn't be happier. Our building is quiet, we have friendly neighbors, and the view of the golf course is beautiful. To top it off, my complex is a 10-minute walk to the Route 59 Metra station, and high speed Internet is now available (although it's a bit pricey).

We have had only a few maintenance problems and all of them have been taken care of within 48 hours. In addition, the Aimco staff (front office and maintenance crew) are top-notch and very friendly.

As for crime, I haven't noticed a problem. The police were called to our building one time last year due to a domestic dispute. Other than that, the neighborhood seems quiet and content.

I highly recommend Country Lakes. We've signed on for another term. It's a great place to live at a great price.
