This place is terrible. It is disgustingly over priced for what you get. The appliances are old (the stove, refrigerator, and washer/dryer look and ACT like they're from the 70's...) and you constantly have to call in maintenance (which is basically a bunch of scum bags who I don't trust to be in the apartment) to fix problems but instead of just replacing the appliances they "repair" it until it breaks again a month later. The washer and dryer don't even clean clothes anymore and I have to run the dryer three times just to get my clothes dry. I started going to my boyfriends house to wash clothes.

The women in the office are horrendous ----- who somehow think they're better than everyone when they work at an apartment complex....and I've heard other people complain about the same thing. I seriously don't why they are working with people.

It's not terrible...but you could find an apartment that is just as ghetto for a lot cheaper. I can't wait until I move out!

I WOULD SAY FROM THE NAME CALLING TOWARDS THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF, THAT IT IS YOU THAT IS DIRTY AND GHETTO, AND JUST POSSIBLE YOUR TYPE OF PERSON MAKES WHERE EVER YOU LIVE GHETTO, NOT SO MUCH THE APARTMENTS ITSELF. AND PS JUST WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE 70'S. PERHAPS YOU FAILED TO DO THE RIGHT THINGS, SUCH AS PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME, KEEP YOUR TRASH PICKED UP HUH?? COME ON NOW, TELL THE REAL REASONS YOU SPEAK SO POORLY ABOUT PEOPLE JUST DOING THEIR JOBS.

You have to be kidding! I question the kind of people who would use the word "----" in a review of his/her intellegence, respect, and decision making skills. I have happily been renting from Country Lakes for several years. The ladies in the office are supurb ,as far as customer relations. They are very respectful ,unlike the person who gave this review. Now, as far as the washer and dryers are concerned, I believe they were there when you viewed the place. In any case, the maintanence people should be praised for keeping these machines in good working order for so long. The staff is great in every department, and it ticks me off that ignorant people who wouldnt know their "----" from a hole in the wall would say otherwise.

Yeah, trust us. 4 years later, and much worse. Trust me, IF you are thinking of moving here. Do a drive through. You will see what we see every day. Take a look at the bottom of garage doors. How they dont even line up at the bottom. They charge you a extra $100.00 a month for that. Oh, and if you want extra storage. Lets say the space is 4'x4' Thats extra to. They will take your money, but they never put it back into the apartments.

I agree with the original posted review. When I lived there back in 2003 and 2004 the office staff wasn't very good. And yes the dryer sucked back then too, It would take at least two cycles to get things dry and if you turned it off mid cycle to check the clothes you would have to wait for it to cool down for it to start back up. As far as the comment above about the washer and dryer being there when you did a walk through, you are correct. But how many times do you strip your clothes off during a walkthrough and do a load of laundary to find out if they work right??? Oh I had free cable for the year I was there (no cable box) and 2 months after I moved out the local rep called me to ask if I wanted to renew and I told him that I had moved and I didn't need the service any more. A month later the main cable office called me threatening me to turn me over to collections becuase of missing cable box and not paying my bill. I called the apartment office and they wouldn't do any thing about it. I ended up paying for 3 months of service becuse the apartment office wouldn't call the main cable office and straighten them out. It was getting bad when I left I would hate to see what it looks like now.

WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT PAY YOUR RENT WITH YOUR DEBIT CARD BECAUSE THEY ARE GIVING REFERENCE THAT YOU ARE PAYING WITH CREDIT CARD. THAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK YOU CANT AFFORD YOUR RENT WHEN YOU ARE REALLY PAYING WITH YOUR DEBIT CARD. MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE PAY WITH A CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER IF YOU ARE EVER TRYING TO PURCHASE A HOME OR RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY ARE PURPOSELY GIVING BAD REFERENCES TO GET YOU TO STAY IN THIS CRAPPY ASS APARTMENT....
