I lived in 5th Ave for only a year by myself, but my family was the developer for the rehab and I have stayed there at sometime or another for about 10 years of my life until they sold it.

I loved the brick and the wood and I even grew to love the train. I moved out a couple weeks ago and wish I could move back in!!!!

While it is a bit pricey, my unit was the smallest in the building and was $750, it was worth it. free cable, free water, free trash with a nice trash shoot, there was a door buzzer and a security camera. It was a very safe place to live.

certainly it was noisy, I still think my upstairs neighbor practiced bowling on the floor, it was part of the deal, and neighbors are noisy everywhere. i thought the management was great, the apartment was great, the lease was clear and everything was very professional and correct unlike companies like AIMCO and EQUITY. I hope that someday when I can afford it better I can move back, only this time I'll live on the 4th floor please!!!!
