These apartments are beautiful, but living here is a nightmare. There is apparently no soundproofing whatsoever--as other reviews have mentioned, this is not normal apartment noise. You can hear every sneeze, cough, laugh, and toilet flush from other apartments--and if your upstairs neighbor is an insomniac and tends to have heavy feet, forget about sleeping. I've had to take time off work. I haven't had a decent night's sleep since I've been here. Earplugs and white noise machines do nothing. It's a shame that such a beautiful restoration resulted in such unlivable apartments.
