I Cannot Wait To Move Out Of This Place

It seemed like a good idea at the time. The price wasn't the highest nor the lowest, but, the little fireplace and the cute porch were mighty appealing. So we rented it. In fact, we still live there. We sure wish we didn't. One of the main problems I should mention first off is the heating. Forget about central heat. You have individually controlled heating vents in each room that run along the bottom of an entire wall in the room. So, you can imagine how fun it was for us to strategically arrange our furniture and electronics so as not to start a fire. There are MAJOR drafts that come in through every crevice. My roommate's bedroom can easily be compared to a walk-in freezer. I thought she was kidding when she told me to go check out how cold it was in her bedroom. Upon entering, I believed her immediately and did not laugh at her anymore for sleeping in her bathrobe and slippers. Another lovely aspect of Huntington Springs is the tired, cumbersome management team that insists on leaving the "Yes! We're Open!" sign out every minute of every day. It really looks inviting at 2:00 A.M. on a Saturday night. They are lacking in communication and customer service skills. The letters they send out to the tenants are often misspelled and grammatically incorrect, which isn't surprising, given the level of service we've received from them so far. It's probably not the worst apartment complex ever, but, they could use a big makeover, cosmetically and employee wise. Try not to buy into their "MOVE-IN" specials, because they'll end up getting that money back from you somehow. Renters BEWARE!!!
