The Mill Ponds seemed likea great idea at first and then stuff started to go sour. I have lived here for two years and my lease is up in a few months thank God!! First of all there is a lot of crime, second of all the space for a one bedroom is not all that great. Third, the utility bills are rediculous!!! On average my gas bill is 60 dollars and there are only two people who live here!!! (Regular rent is 725 but adding on the utilities it averages about 800 a month) In addition the sticker thing about cars. Police will rgularly come through and harass residents over the tineist things. In addition there are a lot of breakins on a very regular basis but the police are never around for that. At Christmas the management sent out a letter saying to beware of vandals and to make sure everything is locked because there were a lot of break ins occuring. My upstairs neighbor's apartment was brokedn into 6 times and another neighbors car was vandalized twice. The office did nothing about it. Also they do not exterminate for bugs so be sure to invest heavily in raid. Basically its too much money for what you get...a freakin' headache!!! (P.S. If you change your mind your stuck for the duration of the lease unless you have roughly 3K to shell out for the buyout fee!)
